ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE

The key-elements of the StEP Initiative’s organization are a Steering Committee, a Secretariat and five Task Forces involving its coordinators, members and observers.

  • The Steering Committee, consisting of five members, is responsible for the progress of the StEP initiative.
  • The Secretariat acts as the operations, coordination and communication (internal & external) hub. In addition, it assists the Task Forces, particularly in stakeholder dialogues, deduction of political recommendations, marketing, networking & liasing and fundraising.
  • The five Task Forces are devoted to research, analysis and facilitation of pilot projects in line with StEP’s objectives.
  • StEP members actively contribute to at least one of the Task Forces by implementing or participating in projects. Observers are those who only follow the work of the Task Forces without being actively involved.
Organisational Structure of StEP As political and legislative guidelines influence the work in the sectors of ReDesign, ReUse and ReCycling, Task Force 1’s input provides the basis for the results achieved by Task Forces 2-4. And Task Force 5, for its part, is directly related to the output of all the other Task Forces.
