15 May 2012 - StEP member Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP), in cooperation with Clean Pacific and UNESCO, developed a guide for journalists covering electrical and electronic waste (e-waste) in the Pacific. The guide defines and explains e-waste, outlines the legal, social, economic, health and environmental implications of e-waste, and presents a case study of a country-level e-waste initiative on the Cook Islands.
