Every 1 January and 1 July, the StEP Steering Committee selects a new voluntary Chair from among elected Steering Committee members. On 1 July 2012, Per Döfnäs of Ericsson completed his term as Chair and was replaced by incoming Chair Christina Meskers of Umicore.
