New StEP Member

StEP warmly welcomes a new member, Mr Kévin Le Blévennec, a Circular Economy Strategist and Independent Consultant, into our community.

Kévin Le Blévennec is an independent circular economy consultant since May 2022. Before that he worked as a researcher for VITO for 4 years, providing science-based circular economy advice for companies and governments. He developed a significant Life Cycle Assessment expertise, especially within the framework of studies for the European Space Agency. Kévin has been internationally representing VITO in several networking platforms, including the Organic and Printed Electronics Association (OE-A).

Passionate about corporate strategy implementation, Kévin's main research interests focus on the role and evolution of the design for sustainability field, as well as an environmentally-sound deployment of digital technologies for accelerating the transition towards a circular economy.

Kévin holds an Engineering Master’s Degree in Materials Science (National Polytechnic Institute of Chemical and Industrial Engineering and Technology, France), an Advanced Master’s Degree in International Environmental Management (Mines ParisTech, France) as well as a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering (Tsinghua University, China).

New StEP Member

StEP warmly welcomes a new member, Mr Leandro Navarro into our community. Mr. Navarro is a professor at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (upc.edu). He has a PhD in telecommunications and is as well coordinating the distributed systems group at UPC. He is a co-rapporteur of ITU-T Q7/SG5 standards on e-waste, circular economy and sustainable supply chain management (L.1024, L.1033, L.1318). His research topics are focusing on distributed systems and digitalization and his main interests are sustainability, development, economics, decentralization, transparency, accountability, governance, and digital inclusion. He is co-founder of the eReuse.org initiative, and part of the environmental sustainability group of the Association for Progressive Communications (APC.org) and the IGF Dynamic Coalition on Environment (DCE).
